Fedor/Werdum fight in May.
Also, in this link, they discuss another card that could be in April with Hendo/Shields and Mousasi/Lawal. If I'm Strikeforce, I'm throwing all of those fights on the same card and just going for a blowout night. They have to generate interest, and a following for their guys (while they have them), they should put them all out there, for everyone to see.
You have this correct other than I think the fights are in April. But they are putting FEDOR/Werdum and Hendo/Shields on the same card. Strikeforce is going all out. Which is smart.
And Muckster, I have a bone to pick with you, in another thread you said Big Nog is the most Overrated fighter there is. Big Nog has taken beatings like no other fighter in the history of the planet. But his BJJ has always pulled out a win. Cain ended him, no argument, but the guy is the second greatest MMA fighter of all time. He has 5 losses. 3 to FEDOR, 1 to Mir and 1 to Cain. His record is something like 33-5. That is unmatched in MMA(except for FEDOR). Nog armbarred Hendo, Cro Cop, destroyed Randy, got pounded by FEDOR and still almost armbarred him. Big Nog is the second greatest fighter that ever lived. And he has 5 losses. FEDOR has 0 losses. Nobody in MMA has 0 losses. Watch this highlight. FEDOR was the underdog. Big Nog is a stud.
http://www.youtube.com/watch#playnext=1 ... 1RDn5bK48kGreg, I don't know if you read the article or not, but it clearly states that Fedor will not be fighting in April on a Showtime card, I'll post part of the stroy.

After weeks of doubt about the fighter's once-expected participation, Fedor Emelianenko will not, in fact, fight in April during Strikeforce's return to CBS airwaves.
According to a report from MMAFighting.com, M-1 officials today said at M-1 Selection Eastern European press conference that Emelianenko will fight Fabricio Werdum – but not until May.
Strikeforce officials have not confirmed plans for the April show, but as MMAjunkie.com (
http://www.mmajunkie.com) reported on Wednesday, it could move to Showtime (or be delayed altogether) now that Emelianenko won't be involved.
As part of his contract with Strikeforce, Emelianenko's fights have to air on CBS rather than its premium-cable partner, Showtime, which has a fraction of the audience.
