Heading to Denver to visit my sick grandmother. Traveling alone, I need something to entertain myself till I get back Monday.

12:25 Thursday- Sitting at the gate moments from boarding my hop to O'hare- 35 10th graders will be on this flight. They are playing hacky sack in the middle of the terminal. Gonna be a plesant hour. :obscene-hanged:

seems if you play the basic version and score well enough, you can play the hand grenade version. might make you feel better.

Wow Stinger I would have thought you'd learned not to do threads like this after you "Random Thoughts" thread idea.

Stinger stoped at the bathroom to take care of some business he had to do.

well boba, I made my own thread beacause this is easier for me when im on my outdated "super phone" than trying to get to the end of the Open Thread.

Merge it if you want.

fyi...sitting on the tarmac for an hour in a regional jet sucks. sitting on the tarmac for an hour when the sun is shining sucks even more.

I'm going to request a bump again. can we tell that I 'm not in any hurry because I don't have a squawking wife nagging me about how she hates air travel?

got last weeks RDOS, it was supposed to entertain me all the way to chicago. That didn't happen because of the delay...but it made it listenable.

Thanks TT....granny's got cancer of the bones....borrowed time according to the doctors who gave her 6 months 18 months ago, but she's still living a normal life save the couple of days a month after chemo drip. So as long as she's comfortable, we're all happy, I need to make it a point to get out here more.

FYI: The kids that boarded the plane in detroit...were going to france on a school trip. Here's the exchange I had with my row mate

Student: I'm going to France on a school trip!
Me: Spanish class?
Student: *dumbfounded expression*
Me: *headphones - More RDOS*

Also, have to give kudos to Chrysler. I had the choice of Toyota, Chevy, Pontiac, Nissan, or Honda midsized sedan...I went with the Charger...it's a finely made automobile. Can't be Alamo @ $120 for 5 days and a Dodge Charger to toodle around the mountains with.

I drove my Charger for two years until March 1, when I downsized to the Sebring. The Charger was a great car to drive. I miss it.

What a great trip...I love it out here. Other than losing $50 in the Casino it couldn't have been more perfect.

Gonna be a tear jerker when it's time to go tomorrow.

Stinger, you may very well be a part of our thoughts, as well.

Flew Delta coming back, they gave me an exit seat...I was excited!

Halfway through my first leg to Minneapolis, I realized there was cold air coming in through the exit door my leg was propped up against.

I moved my leg.

Minneapolis is one of those old school airports...I see no need to ever go back.

and parking at Detroit Metro is bullshit. $20 a day? f*** off jack.
